Create a bootable USB drive in which Windows is installed so you can proceed to the next steps.
Then take a backup of important files to prevent any loss during the reset process. Follow the procedure for backup as discussed earlier.
Insert the bootable USB drive into an available USB port on your HP laptop & wait for the laptop to read your USB.
Restart your laptop and access the BIOS menu with keyboard keys. This is usually done by pressing the appropriate key during the boot process (commonly Esc, F1, F2, or Del) If you can’t access the BIOS menu with these keys then search in the laptop manual or search online.
Search & Navigate to the boot options and set the USB drive as the primary boot device.
Save the changes and exit the BIOS menu by clicking the escape key or close option. Your laptop will now boot from the inserted Bootable USB drive.
Once the laptop boots from the USB drive, you will see the Windows installation screen which is a good sign.

Use the command prompt to identify the drive letter assigned to your system drive if you haven’t chosen other drive options at the time of windows installation. Typically it is the C: drive.
Disable Bitlocker on the system drive using the following command: manage-bde -off C.
Close the Command Prompt and restart your laptop for completion of the final steps.

Open Troubleshoot Options in WinRE, then choose the “Troubleshoot” option & click on the Reset option.
You will see options such as “Keep my files” or “Remove everything.” Choose the option that aligns with your preferences and needs. After confirming, this action will remove your installed applications and settings but may keep your files depending on the chosen option earlier. Now wait for the process to complete & allow the reset process to complete which may take some time.
After the reset is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to set up New Windows.
